The Yetis are focused on providing local competition for youth at all skill levels. SRYHA is the only youth hockey organization in Eastern Idaho who offers the opportunity to participate in a full season of top-tier competition with zero travel commitment. Yetis players compete against local teams in the Snake River Showdown throughout the season to determine who gets to raise the Yetis Cup.
The Snake River Yetis are an AAU Youth Hockey Program. Through the Amateur Athletic Union, players get access to a well-organized program and comprehensive player insurance. As the sole AAU hockey program in the State of Idaho, the Snake River Yetis offer advantages not found in other local hockey programs such as:
